All About Me.

About Cate

Cate Osborn, known online as Catieosaurus, is an award-winning author, educator, speaker, and creator whose work focuses on ADHD and neurodivergence, relationships, communication, and sex education. She has built an audience of more than 2 million people across social platforms by making complicated ideas accessible, funny, practical, and deeply human.

Her first book, The ADHD Field Guide for Adults, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2026 and was an instant Bestseller. Cate also co-hosts the award-winning podcast Sorry I Missed This with Understood.org, and her work has been featured in outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, GQ, HuffPost, and TODAY.

Alongside her work as an educator, Cate is a well-known performer, voice actor, and Actual Play performer in the tabletop roleplaying game industry. Her passion for Dungeons & Dragons and other collaborative storytelling games has led to partnerships and performances with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Wizards of the Coast, Critical Role and Darrington Press, Kobold Press, Chaosium, Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Hero Forge. She has appeared in live and streamed Actual Plays, convention programming, and branded productions, bringing the same combination of humor, vulnerability, improvisation, and audience connection that defines her educational work. Cate is especially interested in the ways tabletop games create opportunities for creativity, identity exploration, community, and meaningful human connection.

Her live work combines evidence-informed education, storytelling, humor, and audience interaction. She speaks candidly about the practical realities of executive function, shame, rejection sensitivity, relationships, sex, communication, and navigating adulthood with a brain that does not always cooperate.
